The Oklahoma School Counselor Association (OSCA) is a chartered state division of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and a division of the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA), which is a state branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA) which supports School Counselors' efforts to help students focus on academic, personal / social and career development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society. OSCA provides professional development and networking opportunities to Professional School Counselors in Oklahoma.
OSCA Fall Conference: Call for Presentations
As a presenter at the 2014 Oklahoma School Counselor Association Fall Conference, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge, experience, and research to other school counselors in your state. Individuals can submit proposals for consideration in workshop presentation format.
- Workshops will be either one or two-hour in length.
- All presentations are expected to offer ways for school counselors to implement the program and innovative opportunities designed to help attendees increase their understanding of the skills related to school counseling.
- Presentations will be selected on conference relevance and how well the proposed workshop addresses school counseling issues.
OSCA will provide a complimentary conference registration and lunch for those proposals that are selected. Deadline to submit is September 1, 2014. Call for Presentations information is now available for download.
